Available Baby Birds

When it comes to looking for the right baby from the right breeder, it helps to remember the old saying, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". While babies are the products of their parents, they're also the result of all the time, energy and devotion that the breeder has put into them. Buying a baby parrot means you are buying the breeder as well. Choosing a reputable breeder with whom you trust and feel comfortable with is as important as finding the perfect baby parrot.

NO BABY BIRD SHOULD BE PURCHASED ON PRICE ALONE! Sometimes the cheaper babies end up costing you more, both in vet bills and/or behavioral problems. My babies are top quality, raised with the best of care, and that's how I can give you a THREE WEEK written health guarantee. My knowledge, experience, accessibility and client commitment are what sets me apart. Let The Parrot's Perch be your choice when considering purchasing the newest member of your family.
You get what you pay for.

* COCKATOO AVAILABILITY *
After extensive soul searching, The Parrot's Perch has decided to no longer breed the Cockatoos due to the large number of adoptable birds that are in need of good homes. Over the last few years I have gradually come to the conclusion that Cockatoos do not do well in captivity as pets. From my 25 years of experience, I've noticed that it is usually the Cockatoos that have the most behavioral problems. They are very intelligent and high energy birds. If not continually mentally challenged and not allowed to burn off this energy, they can become neurotic and psychotic.

I have retired my pairs. If you are still thinking about getting a Cockatoo, please visit www.mytoos.com. You might also visit my Links page to find local parrot rescues to adopt a bird in need of a home.
